Movement for boxers is crucial. Whether its head movement to dodge punches being thrown, hand movement to throw shots, or leg movements to confidently manoeuvre round the ring, good movement is central to being a good fighter. Movement creates steady rhythm, allowing increased speed and endurance. Movement is needed to get you in and out of range, to score with effective punches and to get out of range , for effective counters.
